Sutter brothers biography death

Four brothers, Brian, Duane, Darryl and Brent, have gone on to become coaches and general managers as well. All brothers played either for the Chicago Blackhawks or the St. Louis Blues at one point or another. A seventh brother named Gary is said by his brothers to have been the best hockey player of all seven boys. Rather than making his living as a Hockey player, Gary stayed home to work on the family farm.

Six brothers took the same path to the NHL. A seventh brother, Gary, was offered a tryout with the Rustlers at the same time Brian was, however he declined, choosing not to pursue a career playing Hockey professionally.

Sutter brothers farm

Gary's brothers have suggested that he may have been the best player of all of them. Collectively, the Sutter brothers played 4, NHL regular season games, NHL playoff games, and won the Stanley Cup six times as players and two times as head coach. They have scored 1, regular season goals, playoff goals, 1, regular season assists, playoff assists and a whopping 7, regular season penalty minutes with 1, penalty minutes in the playoffs.

Only Darrly Sutter did not break the penalty minute plateau, as he only had regular season penalty minutes in his career, but his brothers were sure to make up any difference, as that is what famalies do - they work together!
