Moncton-born Thane Dunn, a two-time world champion Elvis Tribute Artist, is doing his part to keep Presleys music and spirit alive. Dunn shares something else with his idol: a belief that a person should give back, which he does by helping a number of charities, in particular those around cancer, a disease that afflicted his late father and wife.

Thane Dunn: One of my very first memories of Elvis probably involves one of my first girlfriends. I was about four years old, and her mom had a record player and had Return to Sender. And so, her mother was really cool. She had almost a Mr. Dressup tickle trunk, and they had a black wig that was rubber so it kind of looked more like Bela Lugosi than Elvis, but we would get on her bed, and we would emulate the little dance Elvis would do in the movies when he would do Return to Sender.
